I started this book yesterday and I am liking it so far. This is definitely going to be a quick read. I read pretty much off and on yesterday no more than 15 mins at a time and I am already on page 168. The story is pretty interesting, my only complaint is some things have seem to fallen in place a little too easily. Once you start reading you should be able to figure out what I am talking about.

I'm going tomorrow to buy this book while I'm in town running errands. I have it on my PBS wish list, but it never has come available. I hope I can find it, I looked for it the last time I was at B&N and they didn't have it in stock. We have a Books a Million too, so I can check there if B&N doesn't have it. Have you read any of her other books? I have gotten the one called, "The SEcret Life of CeeCee Wilkes" from PBS. Haven't read it yet, of course... it's one of the many on my 'unread' shelves. LOL ;)
ReplyDeleteI got mine from Amazon for about $10. I ended up going with the hard copy this time since it was only ten cents more than the Kindle version. I figured I could trade it in eventually on PBS. :) It is hard to find though. I know my library didn't even have copies yet and I also added it to my Wish List on PBS, there really wasn't that many copies coming into the system. This is the first book I have read by her but I am definitely planning on trying something else.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I finished this book and I thought it was really good so for those of you that haven't read it yet I definitely recommend it.
ReplyDeleteFor you NC folks, I didn't realize this until I was trying to pick out another book by Diane Chamberlain....did you know she lives in Raleigh and has a beach house down at Topsail?
Okay, I've started this one and I'm really liking it so far! It is a little freaky for me, because my Emma is 5 yrs old and it seems like the 5 yr old Emma in this book is going to go through a lot! Can't wait to see what happens....
