Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter
I went ahead and started this one so I could get it back to the library in time. It's definitely different. I started the book out trying to figure out what was fiction and what wasn't (obviously anything involving vampires was not real). It got to the point I was driving myself crazy so I have decided to just read it and forget it is about Abraham Lincoln and that is helping. I on page 98 so I still have a little way to go.

Okay, I'm reading this one too. And I need to preface my comment with this.. I am THE most gullible person ever. Ever. I'm having a really hard time knowing what's true and what's not as well!!! I'm only about 40 pages in, but I like it so far. I like learning about Abraham Lincoln's past, but I'm almost getting a headache from trying to distinguish fact from fiction. Can't wait to get further into it to see how this all plays out.
ReplyDeleteI finished this up last night. I liked it but I think I would like his other book better. I am not much of a history buff and some of the book felt a little too history for me (if that makes any sense). I did find parts quite humourous, not so much what the author wrote but how they were able to mix the vampires with history stories I already knew. I also liked the way the author wrote, it was very easy to read.
ReplyDeleteI'm still waiting on this one from the library. I think i'm like 8th in line. Ugh. Always trying to save a buck, ya know???? Anyway, I'll let you all know when I start it.
ReplyDeleteI am STILL waiting for this and I'm only like 5th in line. Which means, either the people who have it love it and can't bear to give it back OR it's taking FOREVER for them to finish it. How was it??? Is it worth the wait? Did you end up finishing it? Just wondering if it's worth the wait or if I shouldn't bother...
