Lady Killer

This is my third Lisa Scottoline book for this year.

Yes, I could be becoming slightly obsessed with her.

I really love her writing and her stories. They move at a very quick pace and truly never let me down.

This one was awesome! Highly recommend it! :)

Thank you, Alynn!!!

So, honestly these two books are ones that I would never, ever have read. Not my style and well, they sounded a bit lame. Buuuut because of Alynn's review I went ahead and bought "The Hunger Games. Finished it pretty much overnight and then RAN to the store to snatch up "Catching Fire" and finished that one just as quick. Needless to say, loved the books and am anxiously awaiting the third one. Thanks again, Alynn!

New Favorite Author

Diane Chamberlain!!!

'Breaking the Silence' was EXCELLENT!!!

I think Tempie and I are the only ones who read this one and the rest of you are so missing out! This book was just great.

It was full of suspense and surprise and so many things happened that made the story just amazing.

Can't say enough!

Order it, read it! You won't regret it! :)

Lovin this book!

Is anyone else reading 'Breaking the Silence' right now?

If you aren't and you haven't, you should!

It's so good!

I can't hardly put it down when I pick it up.

The story kind of reminds me of a Jodi Picoult book, in that there's a little bit of mystery about what's going on with the characters and the storyline is dealing with real issues.

I am about 100 pages in and the more I read, the more I love it!

Tempie, you're the only one I know has read it, so I'm kind of directing this thought towards you... Others... if you haven't read it, stop reading here. :)

I'm so anxious to find out where Sarah fits into everything. Because of her nursing field that she was working in, I'm thinking she may have some connection to Ray. I don't want to write much more, because I don't want to be a spoiler for others, but I'm really anxious to see where this is going. Also, Dylan... can't wait to see what happens with him. I feel so much sorrow for Emma. I can't imagine my Emma having to deal with what that sweet little girl is having to go through.

3 Books for April!! :)

Okay, well, since only a few of us are into the voting on here, we have another tie.

I think the best thing to do at this point is to let both of these stand for April.

Of course, each of us can choose what works for us as far as reading all three books or choosing two of the three to read. How does that sound?

Personally, I already have 'The Sugar Queen' and 'The Friday Night Knitting Club' so I KNOW I'm going to read both of those. And I've got 'Waking Up In the Land of Glitter' on my wish list at PBS so if it comes in time, I'll be reading it as well! :)

My Suggestion for April

Okay I also don't know how to do the whole link thing to pictures so I guess you will have to search for this one. Candace, I know you said non-serious but I looked at my bookshelf and I didn't see anything there.....I wonder does that make me a dark, moody person. :)
