Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Has anyone started???? I know it's the weekend and people are proabably out doing something fun :-), but I've started and it's good. Really good. The first 50 pages were kind of rough...I thought it was going to be kind of boring, but I think they set the stage for stuff to come, because once I got into it, I can't put it down. Hopefully you like it too :-)

Oh, I'm excited!!! I ordered it today from B&N, I can't wait for it to get here now!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI started it tonight, am now about 25 pages in.....I was wondering if it was gonna soon get over the "hump" of background info....glad to know it does and is really good. Yay!
ReplyDeleteI started mine on Thursday but haven't really had to a chance to get past the first 3 chapters. Hopefully my week will calm down and I can really start reading this.
ReplyDeleteI'm still #186 on the waiting list at the library for this book. I guess it's popular :)
ReplyDeleteI finished this book on Thursday. It was really good. I was never able to guess the ending, which I think is a good thing. I know some of you have talked about how the begining drags and I agree. After reading this first 50 pages I had no clue what was going on. Once the story moves to Hedeby the book really picks up and becomes a great page turner. I am definitely going to read the second book.
ReplyDeleteI am going to give it another shot next week once I'm home from the beach and done with what I started today. I'd love to read it if it does get good. Is Hedeby a city?
ReplyDeleteActually I wrote the wrong city, it's Hedestad (there is a Hedeby somewhere in the book). Enjoy the beach, I'm jealous. I have about 6 weeks left until I will be down there. :)
ReplyDeleteThe beach sounds wonderful! Wish that was in my near future :-) Enjoy it!!
ReplyDeleteTempie, I so glad you liked it! I loved it and have the second one waiting for me already. I'm so excited. I hope it's as good and I think the third one comes out soon.
