The Constant Princess

Philippa Gregory's book "The Other Boleyn Girl" is probably on my Top 20 book list. I have been looking forward to reading another book by her but just haven't had a chance until this past week. "The Constant Princess" tells the story of Queen Katherine of Aragon. She was King Henry VIII's wife when he met Anne Boleyn. The books tells of her Spanish upbringing and her fight to become the Queen of England. This book did not flow quite as freely as "The Other Boleyn Girl". The story was intereseting but it was weighted down with a lot of history and I know you guys may be thinking,"what do you expect it is a historical fiction book?" This is true but I like a little more fiction and a little less history. If you haven't ever read any of Gregory's books I do not recommend starting with this one but it would definitely be an interesteing read for a 2nd or 3rd book.
