If anybody wants any of these please let me know. I have a ton of other books that I would be willing to lend out but these are the only ones I am willing to part with.
I would LOVE to have Best Friends Forever! I almost bought it the other day. I've read "She's Come Undone" but it was a really long time ago. And what did you think of "Love In The Time Of Cholera"? I saw the movie and kinda liked it, but I didn't see the whole thing and what I saw, I was kinda confused by, so, I think I would be interested in reading it.
Love in The Time of Cholera is a very interesting read. I didn't take from it the same idea I think the author was trying to convey. It's suppose to be a book about undying love. If you are interested in it I can send it to you and you can tell me what you think. Also, send me your address and I will send out Best Friends Forever.
I have always liked Wally Lamb, but I don't think I ended up finishing "The Hour I first Believed". I'm pretty sure it's buried in a pile somewhere. Did the ending end up being good/worth it? I wonder if I should try it again?????
I would love to read both of those, Tempie, thanks! :) And I've already packaged Cold Mountain and The Pact for you. The Pact is so awesome, at least I thought it was. It's very heart wrenching, though.
And Brittney, I'm putting Cross in an envelope right now.
I'll mail all those out to you girls tomorrow! If anyone else wants any of the ones I've put up, let me know, I'd love to mail em all out at once! :)
It did end nicely for it being such a depressing book. To me this book would have been a whole lot better if he had cut out like 100 pages. I know there are people out there that love him but I just don't think he is for me.
Hey Candace, I need your address to send the books out. Also, I noticed in the Goodreads update that got sent out this morning that you have Eat, Pray, Love & Night on your to-read list. I have both of those if you are interested, or if anyone else is just let me know.
Tempie, I sent you two books today, so keep your eyes open for them! :)
My address is: 1029 Horne Farm Rd Stedman, NC 28391
And thanks for the offer of those two books.. those are two books that have been sitting on my shelves just waiting for me to read them for a LOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGG time now. :) I am SO bad about that! I buy something and then I let it stare at me for a few days... months... sometimes years before I decide to finally read it. I'm a weirdo, I know. :)
By the way, make sure if it's a book you want me to eventually send back to you, put a note or your address or something to me in there so I don't forget where I got it from! :)
Candace, I got the books today...Thank you!!! I have your two ready to go, I just need to stop by the post office. They will definitely go out by the end of the week. Thanks again. :)
Yay! So glad they got there so quickly. I sent them via media mail and the post office lady told me it would take 7 days and it only took 2! That's awesome!
This blog was started as a way for us to review the books we've read or are reading for those of us who love books and are always looking for a great read!
We also read books together each month, as a group, which I LOVE!! Those are listed below on the sidebar! :)
I probably have more I just need to sit down and go through my books.

ReplyDeleteCandace, you definately need to read Eat, Pray, Love. It's one of my all time faves! It's fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI agree about that book being waaaaayyyyyy too long, Tempie. I think that's why I couldn't finish it. The second half seems to drag on forever.
