  1. I just requested a copy of this one at my library and I should get it soon...I'm next in line!! I also put in requests for like 10 other books that are on best seller list or that I saw on the table at Barnes and Noble so they'll start flooding in like mad! I'm going to pick up two right now...

    Olive Kittridge by Elizabeth Strout

    and

The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery.

Any one of these three sound great. I'll probably end up reading all three so it doesn't matter which one is chosen :)

And I can't remember who mentioned their love of the library earlier...but thank you for helping me rediscover it!! I've been going online and requesting holds on books I've been seeing everywhere. The technology amazes me! And it's all FREE...that doesn't happen too often anymore :) I love my kindle but when I'm burning through books, it's nice to save a few dimes and feel really good about it. Thanks again!

  3. Erica, I know what you mean, because I am now so obsessed with Paperback Swap, because I am getting rid of books that were just collecting dust that I didn't care anything about and getting awesome books in exchange! I'm loving getting the books I want for practically nothing.

I too am wanting to read Olive Kitteridge. I have to go read about The Elegance of the Hedgehog and Breaking the Silence, I've never heard of either of those! :)

  4. The Murderer's Daughters looks great to me:) Let me know when you're ready to discuss Still Alice more;) ps "Anybody Out There" by Marian Keyes (I'm reading now) is wonderful, Candace. I think you would love it. I can barely put it down long enough to fix the boys a PB&J and vacuum really quick before hubby gets home from work.....GREAT!
