Any Takers?

These are all awesome books. I came across a box today when my dad and I were going through the storage building and these were a few of the books in there.

I'm offering these up to anyone who would like them. I've seen the movie "Cold Mountain" and I just can't read a book AFTER I see the movie. It's just not the same, I already know approximately what's coming.

And as for "The Pact", it's one of my favorite Jodi Picoult books, but somehow I have two of them.

Also, I have two of "Cross". Tony must've gotten one in Iraq and I got one here, because we have two of them. Another great book, though!

And "Songs In Ordinary Time" was an Oprah's Book Club book, so you know it's excellent!

If you don't get them someone will, so snatch 'em up before they're gone! :)

  1. Ok I'm absolutely drooling over some of these books but I'll be fair and let others have a chance to snatch them up because I was one of the first grabbers from the last round ;).

  3. I feel the same way as Brittney since I spoke up about that last set of books. I would love to read The Pact & Cold Mountain. Candace I have other Picoult books (I'm sure you have read them all though). Handle with Care, Nineteen Minutes, & The Tenth Circle. I can let you borrow any if you haven't read them. Oh, and I have already read Cross, you can never go wrong with James Patterson. :)

  5. Oh, and Tempie, I have read Nineteen Minutes (One of my favorites ever) and The Tenth Circle and I actually just got Handle with Care from B&N as part of their huge sale a few weeks ago. Was that one as good as her others?

  6. Alright, I give. Can I read Cross? I've never read a James Patterson book before. Now, I'm off to check out your other Jodi Picoult books because I read one of her books before and LOVED it. Also, so i'm giving and not just taking, I'm rounding up books to give tonight.

  7. Just wanted to let you know, thanks for the offer but I've read/seen the movie for all of these. (I too can't read the book after seeing the movie :) ) I'm not sure if I've read the first one, but I'll pass for now. Thanks though!!!

  8. Yes, Handle with Care is pretty good. It reminded me a lot of My Sister's Keeper with one child being sick and the other child's life being affected by it.
